Describe your business in 20 words:

In CS Global our business is the people and maximizing their capacities. Our focus is on management and development of human capital and increasing the strategic value of the human resources in companies.

Training and Development is nothing new, but here was the time to start offering HR Consulting, Training and Outsourcing services. I was studying in Germany and had a opportunity to work as Intern in the area of HR Development in corporate environment. As an active member of a student organization I was travelling a lot and attending conferences, trainings and was working as facilitator and trainer, mostly in soft skills and cross-cultural areas.

We are working on promotion of professional certification. Now we are National representative office of European Business Competence Licence EBC*L and Global Representative of TenStep Inc., which is PMI Registered Education Provider R.E.P.

I establish the company CS Global in 2004 with 3 main services Language and Management Training, Recruitment and Selection for companies and Project Management. We were 3 employees with organizational structure, strategic plans for the future, defined services, a lot of ambition and interest. Now we have additional 6 employees as full-time staff, and that is good for our industry.

Main reason for this step of being entrepreneur was that I found out what I really like to work. I was completely prepared and had a lot of patience.

First of all was the lack of corporate market and awareness for HR and Career services in the country. Also the way of thinking, that it is better to be “employed” than “employable”. People did not invested in their careers in terms of Training, Re-training, Life Long Learning.

The hardest thing was to break into the Macedonian culture, to introduce and sell HR services, and the largest challenge was to develop the need for this kind of services.

Do you think there are enough role models of young people who have set up businesses in Macedonia ?

Yes. In the past few years there are a lot of young successful people. I think that in the future there will be more and more small companies.

That is hard to choose one person. Most probably that will be my grandfather, speaking from the personality and motivation for moving things forward.

I had opportunities to work with many excellent experienced experts, trainers and consultants during my career. Furthermore, advantage was to make friendships with different people, and to travel around the world and to understand and manage diversity.

The possibility of experiencing new approaches, new way of thinking and doing business was unique.

Know yourself perfectly: who you are, what you are good at and enjoy doing and what is important to you in your career and your life. If you choose to start your own business, you have to be honest, committed, to take risks, to be professional and to have a lot of empathy.

You need to know at any point of time the quality of your skills and experience and their relevance and value in the market place.

They need to know when to take risks and when to consolidate.

Do not forget to live, to have friends, to have vacation, to have family, to have children, because you can not take the business and all the money with you. Live for the moment, but think that to have successor of your business.

•  I love and enjoy at the same level working and travelling
